Parents have been urged to prioritize the education of their children in a bid to nurture a future generation that is empowered to bring a positive impact to the society.
The call was made yesterday Wednesday by the aspiring Member of Parliament for Rukungiri Municipality Andrew Ankunda Kikira during the end of term PTA meeting for Kinyasano Day AND Boarding Primary School in Western Division Rukungiri municipality.
Addressing the gathering at the school’s main hall, Ankunda noted that an educated child greatly contributes to the development of the community and the country at large.
Ankunda who is an old boy for Kinyasano Day and Boarding Primary school urged parents to secure the future and success of their children by taking them to school to attain formal education.

“Do your part as a parent to support your children to school because you don’t know what your child will be in future. The only reward you can give your children is good education.” Ankunda said.
