The women’s health camp at Lira Regional Referral Hospital is seeing a huge influx of patients as Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng Ocero is anticipated to officially open the camp today May 5th to 9th, 2024, by welcoming and screening patients with a range of medical conditions.

Hon. Zana Opolot, the personal assistant of Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng Ocero told journalists today Monday morning that Hon. Dr. Jane Aceng Ocero deserves recognition and weight for her steadfast support and contributions to the Lango Sub-region.

Opolot claims that they came up with this campaign because there is lack of access to healthcare, which is particularly bad for the vulnerable residents of the area.

Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng is praised by patient, Betrace Odongo of Bata town council in Dokolo district, for her steadfast assistance to the Lango people.

She thanked Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng for the event, describing it as very beneficial and stating that she had experienced ailments but had never received medical aid due to financial constraints.

Speaking with KigeziPost.co.ug, the major event’s organizing committee clarified that Hon. Minister Dr. Ruth Aceng Ocero’s unwavering support and tireless efforts are what make the operations and general medical care feasible.

Renowned for her unwavering effort to enhancing healthcare in Uganda, Dr. Aceng has once again shown her commitment to the welfare of her Lira City people.

Our reporter was informed by Rose Akello, the chairperson Ngetta Sub County Women’s League, that this health camp is unlike anything she has ever attended.

According to her, voters expect their leaders to be physically accountable, not just verbally.
