Former Leader of Opposition in parliament Rt Hon Mathias Mpuuga Nasamba has announced the formation of a democratic alliance (DA) under the slogan ‘New Day , New Way’ with the aim to have a peaceful transfer of power to the next generation.
Mpuuga’s alliance involves prominent leaders from Democratic Party (DP) Bloc, ANTI, CP, JEEMA among other leaders promising to embark on countrywide consultations.
“The biggest opposition in Uganda is in a big slumber, their plan is to have no plan.” Mpuuga stated.
They are to demand President Museveni to ensure a democratic governance and promised never to revenge to anyone incase they assume power.
At the function held at Malibu Gardens Mengo in Kampala, Fongone Forest Leader stage name Alien Skin signed a memorandum of understanding with Democratic Alliance to work together in the launched struggle.
DR Abed Bwanika noted that the problem of Uganda is the Leaders who are living in a comfort zone claiming to be fighting for Democracy as well as turning their supporters a business.
