Members of Parliament, staff to depart for Gulu regional sitting today 

Parliament has announced a tentative schedule for its debut regional parliamentary session in Gulu. 

The event is scheduled on Wednesday 28th August 2024 this week.

Tree planting, a visit to the former Speaker Jacob Oulanyah’s grave, and meetings with boda boda riders and women’s groups in Gulu are among the planned activities.

The program states that Members of Parliament and their staff will depart for Gulu City today.

As part of its social corporate duty, Parliament has organized a free medical outreach at Pece Primary School ahead of its sittings on August 28th to 30th, 2024, at Kaunda Grounds in Gulu City.

The Parliament plenary session will begin on Wednesday, with President Museveni slated to address Parliament on the second day.

The regional meeting will end on August 31, 2024, with the departure of attendees from Gulu.
