Minister Jim Muhwezi went on to advise citizens to avoid drink and drive as this may cause accidents leading to the loss of lives.

As the country prepares for the 2026 general elections, Muhwezi called on voters to reject politicians who promote division through identity-based politics.

The minister however, advised Ugandans to love each other like Jesus used to love us when he was still with us on this earthly planet.

“When we love each other, we resemble the good deeds of our savior Jesus Christ who loves us to the extent that he accepted to die on our behalf that’s why we celebrate Christmas’’ Minister Muhwezi added.

He wished residents of Rujumbura Constituency and Ugandans at large a merry Christmas and prosperous New Year.
