Hon. Maj. Gen. Jim Katugugu Muhwezi the Rujumbura constituency Member of Parliament has fulfilled his financial pledge to Masya Development SACCO in Masya Parish, Nyakagyeme Sub County Rukungiri district.
This follows a pledge he made in July 2024 when the SACCO was officially opened.
The money was officially handed over to the SACCO leadership yesterday by Isaac Kaharuza, the political Assistant of Hon. Jim Muhwezi.
During the handover ceremony, Isaac Kaharuza called for transparency in managing their SACCO funds.

Mwesigwa Obed, the vice chairperson of Masya Development SACCO thanked Minister Jim Muhwezi for the support adding that the money received will be put to use, such that the SACCO can make profits.

Kyoshabire Patience, the SACCO manager and Adrine Kempiha the committee member, told our reporter that they are very happy to receive money, thanking Hon Jim Muhwezi for understanding Masya people pledging their total support to the NRM party ahead of election season.
