The regional legislative sitting in Gulu, which convened on Wednesday, is scheduled to end today 30th August 2024.
It is anticipated that the sessions will proceed to the nation’s east, west, and central regions.
The meetings are intended to bring Parliament closer to the people and place the people at the center of legislation.
Some opposition MPs opposed the regional plenary, with some even choosing to abstain from the meeting.
President Yoweri Museveni urged the people of Gulu to adopt his 4-acre model of prosperity yesterday Thursday during the plenary sitting.
Additionally, he wants them to make advantage of the current road network long before the government intervenes to begin construction on additional important local roads.
