Can. Suzan Muhwezi the wife of security Minister Jim Muhwezi has donated 50M shillings to Kasoroza Church of Uganda in Nyakagyeme Sub County Rukungiri district to commence the construction of a new church building.
Can. Suzan donated the money today Wednesday while attending the church service together with family members at Kasoroza Church of Uganda to celebrate Christmas.
She thanked God for the gift of life reason being why she gives back to Him.
Speaking with our reporter after the church service, Canon Suzan advised parents to create time for their children during holidays in order to guide them in the right ways.
She says that children need to be guided and adopt good morals in society which can cause them to be good citizens in future.
“These are young children and they copy whatever they see us doing. You need to sit with your children, especially mothers and speak to them instead of spending all the time outside in business and other engagements,” Can. Suzan said.
Can. Suzan reminded parents and guardians to also train their children in the religious, cultural and social aspects during the period that they will spend in the holiday break.

She called upon parents to advise their children not to take the peace and security offered by the NRM government for granted since insecurity hinders development of a country.
Can. Suzan, on the other hand, advised young people to join the army and fight for peace in order to ensure a stable country in the future.
