The security minister and Member of Parliament for Rujumbura County, Hon. Jim Muhwezi has donated 200 iron sheets to Bwambara Archdeaconry today Sunday in order to roof their office building.
At archdeaconry headquarters in Bwambara Sub County Rukungiri district, Isaac Kaharuza, Minister Jim Muhwezi’s political assistant, handed over the donation to Bwambara Archdeaconry leadership, led by Archdeacon Rev. Can. George Bazahuuza.
Speaking on behalf of Hon. Jim Muhwezi, Kaharuza stated that the Minister donated the iron sheets as a token of gratitude for the support the people of Bwambara had shown for the NRM government, in particular for President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and other NRM officials.
Instead of promoting sectarianism, Kaharuza asked the people of Bwambara Sub County to support politics of development centered on human needs.

Furthermore, Kaharuza said, when time for elections come, people should choose leaders who will address their issues rather than those who only have their own self-serving goals.

The archdeacon of Bwambara Archdeaconry, Rev. Can. George Bazahuuza, explained that the office block being built is not for the Bwambara Church of Uganda, but rather for the entire archdeaconry, praising Minister Jim Muhwezi for the tremendous support provided and promising their support as Christians when the time comes.

During an interview with our reporter, few Christians, including Prosy Tushabomwe and Christopher Turyarugokwe, expressed their gratitude to Minister Jim Muhwezi for his efforts on behalf of Bwambara residents.
They also pledged to support him in 2026 elections to ensure that the development continues.
