RUKUNGIRI: Joy as jailed lady in Dubai returns home with the help of Minister Jim Muhwezi, holds thanksgiving

The minister for security who is also the Rujumbura County area Member of Parliament Hon. Maj. Gen. Jim Muhwezi has rallied people of Rukungiri to continue supporting the NRM because it has been tried and tested and thus cannot betray Ugandans.

Minister Jim Muhwezi made the comment yesterday Sunday during the thanksgiving of Kobusingye Monic, the daughter of catchiest Kyasimire Fuderisi, whom he assisted in being deported from Dubai when she was in prison.

Kobusingye was assisted by Minister Jim Muhwezi when her mother contacted him, informed him that her daughter was in one of Dubai’s prisons.

Minister Muhwezi intervened immediately, and Kobusingye was deported back to Uganda while still alive.

Speaking during her thanksgiving at Kitunguru Catholic Church in Kazindiro Parish Bugangari Sub County in Rukungiri district as the guest of honor, Minister Muhwezi who was represented by his political assistant Isaac Kaharuza advised people to vote carefully in the forthcoming elections by supporting capable individuals who will provide services to them.

The NRM stalwart cautioned the people against being derailed by those who he said have no will and capacity to render services to the people.

Muhwezi added that he is ready to continue bringing services nearer to people calling them to support him in the forthcoming elections for the development of Rujumbura, Rukungiri and Uganda at large.

Kobusingye commended Minister Jim Muhwezi for his parental heart, stating that if it wasn’t him, she would have perished in jail, and that God should protect him so that he can help others.

She exhorted Ugandans abroad to pray to God regardless of their circumstances, particularly those in jail, as she had been.
