The Rukungiri Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Nsubuga Bewayo Stephen yesterday Monday commissioned two classroom blocks at Centenary Primary School in Bikurungu town council Rukungiri district.
The two classroom blocks cost 189.778.220 shillings.
Speaking during the function, RDC Bewayo urged parents to feed their children while at school if better grades are to be attained.
On this, RDC Bewayo explained that a hungry pupil cannot learn properly being the reason why parents should provide food for their children to perform well.

According to RDC Bewayo, all progress occurs when leaders work together, as demonstrated by the fact that Rukungiri district was able to provide more services during this five-year tenure in office by the leaders.
He however, called for the continuation of teamwork for the benefit of the public.

Geoffrey Kyomukama, the Rukungiri district chairperson LC5 said that as a government, they have played their role urging parents and teachers to join hands and produce good academic results.

Agaba Hilary the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer Rukungiri district asked beneficiaries to look after and maintain the handed over classroom blocks for better performance and good environment.

During the event, Isaac Kaharuza, Hon. Jim Muhwezi’s political assistant and Rujumbura County MP, stated that all of these services are made possible by the current leadership, urging voters to support them in the upcoming elections to ensure that growth continues.
