Kenyan authorities have handed over thirty-six Ugandans who were arrested on Tuesday in the western Kenyan city of Kisumu for allegedly taking part in an illegal meeting.
These people belong to the Forum for Democratic Change, a split faction.
The 36 people (33 men and 3 women) have been turned over to police for additional questioning, according to Paul Mugisha, head of liaison and protocol at the External Security Organization.
According to the group coordinator, they traveled to Kenya for a retreat focused on leadership development.
