The Bishop of North Kigezi diocese Rt Rev Onesimus Asiimwe has called on Priests to remember that God’s calling and gifts remain unchangeable.
On Thursday, July 18, 2024, at the installation of Venerable James Tumusiime as the Archdeacon of Bwanga archdeaconry, which is located in Bwanga Parish, Nyarushanje sub-county, Rukungiri district, Bishop Onesimus disclosed this to the audience during his sermon.
Bishop Onesimus also denounced church leaders who, in his opinion, shouldn’t be rushing to assume positions of authority.
Speaking at the same event, Venerable James Tumusiime thanked Bishop Onesimus for enabling him to serve as the archdeacon of Bwanga and pledged to work with Christians to accomplish the main objectives of the church.
