Boona Bagigahare Nyekundire Group’s Moses Rwakacaka reveals downfall of Peace Rugambwa on Live TV show

The former vice chairperson Boona Bagigahare Nyekundire Group for South Western Uganda Tukesiga Moses commonly known as Rwakacaka has exposed secrets behind the downfall of Madam Peace Rugambwa on live television talk show.

During his appearance on an online “Digi Talk” Television’s morning talk show, Tukesiga divulged the secrets.

Rwakacaka said during the show that when he first joined Peace Rugambwa three years ago, they were not paid as leaders; instead, Rugambwa advised them to put in a lot of effort so they could see the president and receive a gesture of gratitude from him.

He revealed that although they put in a lot of effort as leaders, they knew Rugambwa was guiding them in the correct direction but, over time, they discovered that she was using them to further her own agenda rather than the public good.

Rwakacaka claimed that after they realized Rugambwa was using them to disseminate misleading information, they sat down with her and asked for the group’s mission and vision.

When she realized they were asking her personal questions, she began firing them one by one so she wouldn’t be able to be exposed to the public.

He claimed that Rugambwa is doing what it takes to restore her reputation in Rukungiri after defrauding people of 12,000 shillings as a membership fee and as a result, she now alleges that some individuals are preventing her from receiving mattresses and other stuff from the President.

Rwakacaka claimed that after Rugambwa disregarded the president’s orders, including cooperating with the Rukungiri district leadership, he made the decision to cut ties with her.

He went on to say that Peace Rugambwa is a woman who operates her businesses on false pretenses, disparaging and defaming others in order to further her own interests rather than the general welfare.

Rwakacaka also accused Mr. Mumpe Collins the secretary general for Boona Bagigahare South Western Uganda of conspiring with Peace Rugambwa and President Museveni’s social media handlers to post false information that Boona Bagigahare has 150,000 members on President Museveni’s social media accounts which he said is not true.

However, he affirmed that he must work with the leadership of Rukungiri district to ensure that everyone who was defrauded 12,000 shillings get their money back, as President Museveni pledged during their state visit early this year.

Cue in…..RWAKACAKA ON PEACE RUGAMBWA…..

It should be remembered that leaders of Boona Bagaigahare Nyekundire Group in Rukungiri district on 19th November 2024 resolved to form an independent group which will not run under the leadership of Ms. Peace Rugambwa.

The leaders made the decision during a meeting held at Okapi Hotel in Western division Rukungiri municipality and was attended by all Boona Bagigahare Nyekundire Group from all Sub Counties in Rukungiri district and Counsel Bwagi Jonathan of Bwagi Co. Advocates to give members legal advice.

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Topher Karabayi who is the chairperson of Boona Bagigahare Nyekundire Group Rukungiri district.

Speaking during the meeting, Karabayi told members that he was shocked when he learned that Peace Rugambwa had registered Boona Bagigahare Nyekundire Group as Boona Bagigahare Nyekundire Group Limited, meaning the organization is owned by her, not members.

Karabaya went on to say that Boona Bagigahare Nyekundire Group lacks the official account and constitution that are necessary to operate as a public organization; instead, it is only in her hands, which they believe may lead to issues in the near future.

According to him, the Rukungiri district Boona Bagigahare Nyekundire Group met and wrote to Rugambwa, granting her two weeks to come and address all of these pressing concerns, including why she is unable to implement the directives from the President that were given during their state visit earlier this year to ensure the group’s smooth operation, but it was all in vain.

Karabaya continued that members paid Ugx. 12000 nearly seven years ago promising them items including mattresses, bed sheets, animals, among other things.

However, nothing has been done, so they are being forced to fire Ms. Peace Rugambwa and establish an independent group that will operate legally and benefit its members.
