The chairperson LC5 for Rukungiri district Geoffrey Kyomukama has urged parents to secure the future and success of their children by taking them to school to attain formal education.
Kyomukama was speaking on Friday last week as the chief guest during the function to reward best performers of 2024 PLE at Buhunga Primary School in Buhunga Sub County Rukungiri district.
Addressing the congregation, Kyomukama advised parents to endeavor to pay school fees and support their children to attain the best education.
Kyomukama described education as the only reliable and profitable gift a parent can give to a child now since there are limited properties to inherit compared to the past.
“Do your part as a parent to support your children to school because you don’t know what your child will be in future. The only reward you can give your children is good education’ Kyomukama said.
