Christians have been challenged to always support construction works going on at their respective places of worship as a way of respecting God.
The call was made by North Kigezi Diocesan Secretary Rev. Can. Eric Bingana Mugyenzi while preaching during the fundraising towards completion of Kakonkoma Church of Uganda in Southern Division Rukungiri municipality.
In his sermon, Rev. Can. Bingana emphasized the mandate of Christians in supporting construction works at their respective worship places as this helps them to get blessings from God.

Nyabushozi County area legislator Hon. Wilson Kanjwengye who represented the chief guest Hon. Maj. Gen. Jim Muhwezi congratulated Kakonkoma Christians for their great initiative to expand the Church of God, a sign that the community is growing.
In order to further help the work of God, Hon. Kanjwengye bought a cow to the tune of Ugx. 3M and delivered a donation of Ugx. 5M from Minister Muhwezi.

Counsel Isaac Atukunda told the story of how serving and working for God does not result in loss.
Over Ugx. 21M was collected during the function and the church’s expansion, estimated at a tune of 556 million shillings.
