Security Minister who is also the chairman NRM for Rukungiri district and the Rujumbura County Member of Parliament Hon. Maj. Gen Jim Katugugu Muhwezi has urged Ugandans to vote carefully in the forthcoming election if they want to benefit from their leaders.
Hon. Jim Muhwezi made the revelation yesterday Monday while officiating as the chief guest during the fundraising towards the renovation, completion of office block, installation of electricity and lightening conductor at Rutooma Integrated Primary School in Buhunga Sub County Rukungiri district.
Addressing the congregation in a function held at Rutooma Catholic Parish, Jim Muhwezi disclosed that a large number of people have expressed interest in running for various political seats, advising people to exercise greater caution because some have come with misleading information to further their personal agendas rather than the interests of the public.
Since cement and lighting conductors were identified as two of the most desired items required to address the fundraising cause, Minister Jim Muhwezi donated more than 4 million shillings toward the renovation of Rutooma Integrated Primary School and the lightening conductor needed.
