The Assistant Resident District Commissioner for Rukungiri district Ms. Kallen Kagisha has emphasized the importance of discipline and academic focus for students to achieve success in life.
Ms. Kagisha made the revelation today morning while having interaction with students of Makobore High School at Emmanuel Cathedral Hill in Southern division Rukungiri Municipality during a career guidance session.
Regardless of the school attended, Kagisha told the students that a successful future depends on their commitment to their academics.
She assured the gathering of students and staff that success is attainable for anyone who prioritizes their education.
According to Kagisha, boys will encounter empowered girls in this generation, encouraging them to put in twice as much effort to marry those ladies, which may be accomplished through education.
The Assistant RDC discouraged students from engaging themselves in sexual related behaviors that would cut their lifespan short, stressing the need for them to abstinence from sex and subsequently wait for their time to get married after studies.
She however implored them to have their country at heart for the continuity of peace and stability, both in the country and beyond.

Makobore High School Head teacher, Gard Arinaitwe Gakibayo, emphasized the transformative power of education since it’s an equalizer in life.
Arinaitwe expressed gratitude to the RDC office for providing the students with words of hope that he believes would influence their decisions.
