Popular businessman who also eyes for Rukungiri Municipality Parliamentary seat Ankunda Andrew Kikira has implored Christians, politicians and government workers to always give support to churches in order to attract the divine blessings.
Ankunda sounded the remarks yesterday Sunday 30th March 2025 during the fundraising event organized by Nyabihinga Catholic Church choir in Rwentondo ward, Eastern Division Rukungiri municipality to purchase a worship keyboard, uniform, drums and other developments of the churc inh.
While addressing the Christians, Ankunda said that Churches cannot operate or develop without support from the Christians, politicians and the government institutions.
The Rukungiri municipality hopeful MP added that everybody has been given an individual task by God which he expects them to complete and at the end receive blessings from Him.
He however challenged the Christians to learn how to generously support the church projects, adding that it is the reason God has given believers life as the greatest gift.
Ankunda also asked for support from Christians of Nyabihinga and the entire Rukungiri municipality in the forthcoming elections in order to advance the community’s development.
As a fundraising initiative, Ankunda Andrew Kikira surprised the Nyabihinga Catholic Church’s members by donating a keyboard and drums that the choir required to perform God’s work, creating a cheerful atmosphere throughout the event.

Phausita Kikanshemeza, the chairperson Nyabihinga Catholic Church choir claimed that their church has been struggling with lack of worship instruments which prompted them to plan a fundraising event in an effort to buy them and continue God’s work.
Kikanshemeza hailed Ankunda Andrew Kikira who has been able to render in his support towards purchasing all said items pledging their support to him when time comes.
