Rukungiri hopeful Woman MP Innocent Kashobera trains residents in liquid soap, body Jerry and cake making

Soaps, body jerries and cakes are basic items we use in our everyday lives, and yet many people do not know how they are made.

With the right ingredients and a few hours of time, the items can be easily made from the comfort of one’s home.

With this in mind, the Rukungiri district hopeful Woman of Parliament Ms. Nabasa Innocent Kashobera rolled out training with the aim of training Rukungiri residents to make liquid soap, jerries, and cakes in a training that was attended by participants from Bwambara Sub county and Bikurungu town council respectively.

According to Nabasa, the idea was inspired by the need to help participants to acquire skills for setting up viable businesses that respond to the market requirements given the fact that liquid soap, body jerries and cakes are basic items that are consumed by people in Rukungiri district on a daily basis.
