Youths have been urged to stop bitterness, including political hatred as the country heads for the 2026 polls.
The call was made yesterday by Dan Ahimbisibwe Bahamire while representing Hon. Jim Muhwezi the Rujumbura County Member of Parliament during the fundraising at Nyakitabata Catholic Church Center in Bugangari Sub County Rukungiri district to renovate church.
Addressing the Congregation, Ahimbisibwe revealed that some youths are being used by some politicians to defame their rivals, the habit he condemned. Ahimbisibwe urged them embrace peaceful elections for the development of Rukungiri district and the Country at large.
Meanwhile, he confirmed that Minister Jim Muhwezi is committed to continue providing social services to his electorates urging people to give him support for the continuity of development. Jim Muhwezi contributed all the required 130 iron sheets to reroof Nyakitabata Catholic Center.

Rev. Fr. Jeremiah Tumwijukye, Rwengiri Catholic Parish Priest who led the mass said that he is aware of youths on social media who are being used to create hatred among aspiring candidates.
Fr. Jeremiah disclosed that this is very dangerous and youth should stop being used by such people if to remain safe and have peaceful elections in the country.
He hailed Minister Jim Muhwezi for the tremendous support towards his people adding that his contributions in communities indicates that he is the hardworking person worth to the people.

Mugisha Didas the chairperson Nyakitabata Catholic Center clarified that the fundraising was meant to renovate their church and construction of the Catchiest house, thanking Hon. Jim Muhwezi for his support and developments he made in Bugangari.
