Anita Among, the Speaker of Parliament, met Pope Francis during a private meeting at Vatican Palace in Vatican City.
The meeting occurred on Saturday 24th August 2024.
In a video posted by the Speaker’s Office, Anita Among is seen kneeling to greet Pope before the two begin speaking.
The Speaker then presents her twins to the Pope, who blesses them.
Anita Among, who was about to turn 50, traveled to Rome last August and visited Pope Francis.
In response, Pope Francis blessed her unborn child by making a delicate cross on her noticeably increasing abdomen.
